"Be still and know that I am God."   Psalm 46:10

In this fast paced world we live in today, we barely slow down long enough to simply catch our breath...would you agree? It's no wonder many of us feel like the voice of God isn't loud enough. I am inspired when I read in Exodus 3 where Moses comes upon the burning bush in the desert. Scripture tells us that It is only when Moses slows down long enough to notice that the bush is not being consumed by the fire that God finally speaks to him. Granted Moses was all alone in the desert with a flock sheep, but this story still serves as an excellent lesson to all of us. I am convinced that God is revealing himself to us through burning bushes everyday, we simply need to "be still" and take some time to listen.....just like our friend Moses. Amen ><>
