The Roadway to LIFE
"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me." John 14:6
Have you ever planned a family road trip? While you probably have a preferred route of travel, the truth is there are likely many different ways to get to your planned destination. In fact, our family has a favorite vacation spot we travel to each year, but on occasion, we will take a different route of travel simply to experience a change of scenery. In the end, regardless of the route we choose, we still arrive at our intended destination.
While this illustration may be true of our routine travels in life, the roadway to God has only one route to follow and that is through the person of Jesus Christ. While we live in a world that suggests that there are many different ways to God, scripture is clear that the roadway to God is only through Jesus Christ. God gives us Jesus, THE way, THE truth and THE life. We should rejoice that God gave us a way.......and it's the ONLY way to an everlasting life with Him.
